Unparalleled Protection—Proved by a ZERO Customer video.
A medical company in the Northeast region of North America regularly ships and stores Bio-medical nuclear material. Among the safety requirements are packaging, storage, and transport standards protecting against the release of radioactive materials into the environment and for the protection of individuals from these materials. Shipments are governed by extremely stringent protocols, including Industry regulations, the Federal Department of Transportation, the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and, for international shipments, the International Atomic Energy Agency.
This video was created as part of our customer's testing procedures. One requirement was the capability to withstand a 10' drop, as this customer video demonstrates, our ruggedized case withstood a drop of 30' from their building. The ZERO case in this video is a standard Transitainer™. At their request, we added special hinges and latches. Customer modifications included special linings and internal containers to hold 65-100 lbs of radioactive material securely and safely—making this a truly innovative solution. These tests—and the fact that they have purchased hundreds of cases over 10 years—are the best testament to the quality, performance and value of ZERO Cases—and the innovation of our customers.
